CIRCL on the Vastgoed Anders Besproken podcast: circular construction, faster and energy efficient

How do you build a home that is both energy efficient and circular, without compromising on comfort or design freedom? In episode 24 of the Vastgoed Anders Besproken podcast, Alexander Van Schandevyl of We Invest discusses this with Peter Bertels of CIRCL.
Circular construction in practice
For CIRCL, circular construction goes beyond simply using sustainable materials. By combining bio ecological and recycled materials with smart engineering and a highly prepared construction process, the impact of the entire building process is reduced.
A large part of the home is prefabricated to measure in the factory. The different elements are then efficiently assembled on site. This provides greater control, less waste and a shorter construction time.
Building faster, without surprises
Speed and predictability are also discussed extensively. By planning most of the construction process in advance and closely coordinating production and assembly, CIRCL can build faster than with a traditional construction site.
This approach also ties in with another important principle: a fixed price. By defining as many choices and costs as possible upfront, customers know exactly where they stand.
