At CIRCL, sustainability is self-evident

Find out how we bring together sustainable materials, circular principles and energy-saving techniques to realise your dream home.

Sustainable building without compromise

At CIRCL, sustainable building is not a marketing term, but a well-considered combination of choices: natural materials, energy-efficient techniques, a circular building system and a modular approach that keeps waste and transport to a minimum. From foundation to finish, we think circular, local and future-oriented, without compromising on comfort or style.

Walls in LVL timber frame

Our homes are constructed from LVL timber: a very strong material that has proven its solidity in residential construction for many years.

LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) consists of thin layers of wood compressed under high pressure to form strong, stable beams. Lighter than concrete and stronger than steel but also perfectly dimensionally stable. Quick assembly and low CO₂ impact.

Bio-based insulation

We use cellulose flakes that guarantee high-quality, durable insulation.

Instead of classic insulation, we choose natural materials from residual flows, such as recycled paper. These score well in terms of EPB, acoustics, moisture regulation, CO₂ impact and circularity.

Less transport, fewer emissions

By designing smartly and building modules off-site, we drastically reduce site traffic. Less transport means fewer emissions and less nuisance.

Because we work with lighter materials and prepare many parts in advance in our workshops, fewer deliveries and fewer crane moments are needed on site. This reduces CO₂ emissions and speeds up the construction process.

Built to grow with you

Your home evolves with you. The structure and layout are designed so that you can easily make adjustments later, without major demolition or waste.

We build with a flexible and quasi-dry construction system. This makes it possible to replace or dismantle parts of your home without waste. Whether you want to add a desk or move a wall, your home adapts, not the other way around.

CO₂ savings at every stage

Every CIRCL house contributes to CO₂ reduction: during production, on site and in the use phase.

We choose materials that store CO₂ (such as wood), reduce emissions during transport and build homes with extremely low energy consumption. Thus, on average, each home saves tens of tonnes of CO₂ compared to traditional construction.

Performant and sustainable technologies

Each house contains an optimised package of technologies: solar panels, ventilation, heat pump and smart controls ensure low E levels.

All technologies are centralised in one compact module, pre-tested and ready for plug-and-play installation. This reduces errors on site, saves installation time and guarantees low energy bills.

Smartly prepared, without waste

At CIRCL, sustainable construction starts before the construction site. Thanks to digital preparation and customised production, we avoid waste and ensure less waste.

We build only what is needed, prepared to the millimetre. Every part is planned digitally, which ensures less material loss and residual material. So we save raw materials and reduce waste from the start.

CIRCL builds with a visible impact

Every home we build counts. Not only for the residents, but also for the planet. At CIRCL, we make sustainability visible and measurable: from CO₂ savings to energy performance and material use. No vague promises, but real impact.

CO₂ savings

By building circularly and storing CO₂ in materials such as wood.

Low E level

Thanks to efficient techniques, our homes consume hardly any energy.

Durable materials

We build with a minimum of 70% bio-based and 40% recycled materials.
